Patriotism. It is one such feeling which tears your heart and brings tears to one's eyes. Then it does not matter which country you belong . It is one such feeling around which an entire film can be built up. As there are other emotions such as revenge, romance, fear etc. patriotism has always been one strong emotion in Indian cinema. It is so because, India as a country which has been through the worst phases and bad environment where people have lost their their lives or everything they had. Mostly, the patriotic cinema captured the Indian freedom struggle or the pre or post partition period. The first ever Indian war film was made by Chetan anand by the name Haqeeqat 1964.
